Privacy Policy

Who we are
Paul Martinez publishes Longview Four under the Longview Games brand. This policy describes the current iPhone and iPad app and its support website.
The app has no advertising, third-party analytics SDKs, cross-app tracking, or separate Longview account. We do not operate a gameplay server.
Information on your device
The app stores local games and unfinished local plans, game results, a limited history of solo game replays, first-player preferences, and adaptive computer-opponent weights using app storage on your device. We do not receive this information automatically. Device backups may include it according to your Apple and device settings.
Use Privacy & Support → Clear Local Data on the main screen to erase this local information. Deleting the app also removes its local data, subject to backup and device settings.
Optional Apple Game Center
Online play uses Apple Game Center to sign in, find opponents, display player information, and store and deliver match state and submitted plans. Apple processes Game Center player identities, participants, turns, results, and game data to operate this service. Other participants receive the match information needed to play. Pending plans are hidden by the ordinary interface, but are included in the match data.
We do not copy Game Center matches into a separate developer-operated database. Apple controls service retention and account settings. See Apple’s Privacy Policy. Clearing local app data does not erase information held by Apple.
Support email and website
If you email support@longviewgames.com, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond and investigate the issue, retain them only as reasonably needed for support and recordkeeping, and may use our email provider to process them. You can email us to request deletion, subject to records we must retain.
This static website does not add advertising, analytics scripts, or a contact-form database. Cloudflare hosts it and may process connection information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and secure the site under Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. Website hosting practices are separate from the app’s local gameplay.
Sharing, children, and changes
We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Information may be disclosed where legally required. Longview Four is a general-audience strategy game; we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the app. Families can use Apple’s parental and Game Center controls.
No system is guaranteed completely secure. We will update this page when features or data practices change and show the revised effective date.
